Heximal in bits
From a computer’s standpoint, decimal is not special. Software libraries can be written to use Heximal instead.
Below are the list of heximal equivalents of common computer values:
Unsigned
- 1 Bit = 00. to 01.
- 8 Bits (Byte) = 00. to 11.03.
- 16 Bits (Short) = 00. to 01.22.32.23.
- 32 Bits (Long) = 00. to 01.55.01.04.01.55.03.
- 64 bits (Quad) = 00. to 3.52.05.22.01.01.02.10.04.44.24.44.23.
Signed
- 8 Bits (Byte) = -03.32. to 03.31.
- 16 Bits (Short) = -41.14.12. to 41.14.11.
- 32 Bits (Long) = -55.30.32.00.55.32. to 55.30.32.00.55.31.
- 64 bits (Quad) = -01.54.02.41.00.30.31.03.02.22.12.22.12. to 01.54.02.41.00.30.31.03.02.22.12.22.11.
